Tungsten Rod and Bar
Tungsten rod & bar stock are manufactured from high purity tungsten powder. Because of the special properties of tungsten, these rods and bars have many applications such as welding electrodes and electrical contacts.
Buffalo Tungsten also sells tungsten discs and contacts, precision ground tungsten pins, and pure molybdenum rod. Plating of tungsten pins and discs with elements such as tin and nickel are also available upon request.

At Buffalo Tungsten, black tungsten rod is ground to a smooth finish on a high precision center-less grinder. The finished rod diameter can be ground to within tolerances ± 0.001”. Standard diameter sizes for Tungsten Rod are listed here below. Custom size diameters are also available.
